2021 SUSTAINABILITY REPORT VIEW

From the day it is founded, Tekkan Plastik grows with firm steps in the plastic sector. It makes investments and plans to continue its growth with a vision that is open to development. The climate changes and the rapid shortage of natural resources brought out the truth that it is essential to leave a more livable planet to posterity.

“In parallel to our “protecting our working environment, using our all resources most productively” policy we act by focusing on “sustainable development” in all of our processes. As part of sustainability policy, we approach holistically the business models and processes based on environmental, social, and institutional management

Our work to minimize our environmental impact continues. Within this scope by successfully completing our ISO 14001 Enviorment Management System, environment document has been included in our structure. To use our energy resources efficiently we have been working up to the present, and we will continue to do so.

Making a habit out of putting a signature to principles, our company showed outstanding success by winning the 2015 Arçelik Best Supplier award for the second time and winning this year’s award on its own.

We have registered our success before our biggest client by winning 1 silver and 5 gold awards from this evaluation that have been done for 9 years.

We have been considered worthy of the special 2016 Innovation and Improver project award. We are aware of the fact that equipped and loyal employees are one of the most important factors of this success. We are supporting our employees with training to increase their development and ensure their productive working. In 2021 training period is per capita is 147 min/ month, while the external training period is 1064 hours. We care about workplace safety, and we give training to our employees about the topic. In both of our firms, workplace safety experts make provisions for possible risks by conducting field controls.

We believe that to support community development, companies should encourage the “volunteering” principle for sustainable community development. Within this scope, we provide tuition assistance scholarships every month to students in need.

Our goal in making this report is to transfer the processes we manage with sustainability principles transparently while reaching our business goals and our steps in this area to our stakeholders
